The friction

What is happening now?

Search engine optimization begins with a mismatch you can identify: a useful service is hard to find, the wrong page receives the query, or visitors cannot tell what to do next. Define the customer question and its owning page before adding more articles or location pages.

A practical system

Improve search visibility one page and buying question at a time.

  1. 01

    Map a buying question

Choose one service and audience. Compare search intent, competing page types and available demand evidence; distinguish a buyer question from general curiosity.

  2. 02

    Improve its owning page

Use first-hand expertise, examples and clear scope to answer the question. Resolve duplicated page roles before commissioning another article.

  3. 03

Check discovery and the next step

Verify crawl access, canonical URL, title, headings and useful internal links. For answer engine optimization, keep supported answers clear without expecting a special schema tag to earn a citation.

  4. 04

    Review queries and inquiries

Record a baseline, then compare the query mix, receiving URL, clicks and useful inquiries. Investigate a mismatch before changing the copy again.

Proof

Track search intent and useful inquiries.

  • Queries and impressions for the intended page, with country and date range recorded
  • Clicks and useful inquiries, separated from rankings or AI mentions
  • Unexpected receiving URLs or irrelevant queries that may indicate unclear page roles
  • A change log at publication and reviews at days 7, 14 and 30; low traffic may require a longer observation period

Human safeguards

Keep people in control.

  • Human-reviewed claims
  • No mass-produced city pages
  • Original expert evidence
  • Clear analytics boundaries

Before the pilot

Questions before a search visibility test.

Should we create a page for every related keyword?

No. Group phrases that share the same customer task under the best existing page. A new page needs a distinct purpose and useful evidence, not just another keyword variation.

When should we rewrite the page again?

Correct factual errors promptly. For performance changes, first check indexing, query mix and whether enough observations have accumulated. A scheduled review is useful; a scheduled rewrite without evidence is not.
